Party in the city where the heat is on…all night on the beach till the break of dawn!

Posted on February 9th, 2011.

I would like to say that the most important encounter to me in Miami was when Cole and I were shooting a webisode for this site.  We were taking it easy on the beach boardwalk, just asking the people walking by if they would like to answer a few questions about television programming.  There was a very young couple that walked by, and the guy was loving the camera.  He broke out in rap dance moves kind of like Usher!  He gave a brief interview and then I looked down and noticed that his fiancé was smoking and preggers.  I don’t know what came over me, but I had to speak on behalf of this little unborn baby.  I reached down and took the cigarette out of her hand and hugged her.  I guess John’s work in cancer medicine gets the best of me sometimes.  But, it touched my heart to tell her how much she is loved and her little baby.  Her fiancé’ then picked up the smushed stub and threw it over a fence.  The opportunity to give that unborn child a voice is what motivates me, humbles me, and causes me to do what I do.  Giving the weak a voice is what is right about my work and I am very thankful for the opportunity to do one little thing, that may not mean anything, because the girl could have gone to smoke a whole pack right after that for all I know.  But, it brought tears to my eyes that I was there, in the city of parties, to show someone, maybe a few, that somebody cares.

This is the essence of the Everyday Philanthropy movement – to inspire all people to look for opportunities to show love and care.

“What you are trying to do may seem like a drop in the ocean, but if this drop weren’t there, it would be missed.” ….seems to come to mind.

  1. I believe in what Beverly Adams Entertainment is trying to do for others. This is a reality series that will impact MANY lives.

What greater thing is out there than to help your fellow man…BEAUTIFUL show!!! I want to SEE MORE!!!!!!

  2. I am so excited and very thrilled over this new reality series to see the reality of morality being taken back in our entertainment industry! I see this as a major answer to prayer concerning what Ed Solvoso is about in the marketplace ministry for Christ…taking back the media for the glory of God!

I am so very proud of my sister Beverly for taking the bull by the horns in this industry not to be just a spokesperson but a lady of true change for the better of mankind.
I will share this opportunity to all I know in and around my community and ya’ll do the same. IT IS TIME!!!!! Go Bev!!!!!!
